Today was a near-perfect day for running. It was sunny and clear but windy, and the temperature was about 40 degrees. Perry and I "blazed" through our 2-mile run. We cut our time by one minute! As we ran, I rambled on about last night's Bible study and the great insights I learned. We found out that when I run out of things to talk about, our minds are back on running. I need to save my stories for when we run.
After work, I went shopping for much-needed new running clothes. I bought a green hoodie jacket in honor of our new blazin' turtle status.
Tonight, I tried to recruit my family members into the Blazin' Turtles, but I had no takers. Drew refused, saying that turtles don't run - they scurry. :o(
